Going Deep for the Community

Welcome to Sports for Kids

The Sports Commission's impact in the community reaches the youngest of sports fans. Through its affiliated St. Louis Sports Foundation – and under the banner of Sports for Kids – the organization coordinates a series of initiatives that help young people from St. Louis live healthier, happier and more productive lives through exposure to sports.

The Sports Commission established the Sports Foundation as a legacy of the U.S. Olympic Festival in 1994. Today, the Foundation and Sports for Kids are responsible for several unique programs that foster a winning environment for youth in the St. Louis region:

Sportsmanship & Education Programs

Community Support Programs
