Welcome to America’s Best Sports City

The 1904 Olympics… Nine World Series Championships… a single-season home run record-holder… a Super Bowl title — just a few of the highlights that represent St. Louis’ rich sports history. Sports are part of the lifeblood of St. Louis; our teams, players and events have a special place in the hearts of the people who call our community home. So when The Sporting News came out with its annual survey of North America’s top sports towns, it was no surprise to find out who was #1. TSN confirmed something we’ve known all along:

St. Louis is America’s Best Sports City.

Sure, the recent winning ways of the Blues, Cardinals, Rams and Billikens had much to do with that designation. But it also stems from a wonderful sports tradition St. Louis has developed over the years and throughout the last century. That tradition remains alive today in the form of our diverse lineup of major events, expansive sports development, outstanding venue package, and of course, the tremendous support and loyalty exhibited by St. Louis sports fans — the best fans in the country.
